George "Turk" Adkins Jr. was born, October 16, 1970 in Estill, SC to Authoree Adkins and the late George Adkins Sr.
George was educated in the public schools of Hampton County. George loved music, dancing and riding his moped with the " Wild Hog Scooter Boys." Turk was the life of the party and had a smile that would light up a room. He was a member of Thomas Chapel CME Church.
All his loving memories will be cherished forever! He leaves behind his loving mother Authoree Adkins of Estill SC; two daughters Tiyonia (Marcus) Fields and Samonnie Scott of Orangeburg, SC. Two sons Jamal Adkins and Tykeem Adkins of Estill, SC. Sisters Patricia (Ricky) Adkins of Estill, SC and Eugenia (Terrance) Jordan of Orangeburg, SC. Brothers Michael Adkins of Scotia, SC and Sammy (Chinnise) Adkins of Garnett, SC. Two grandchildren: Savion Fields of Orangeburg, SC and Tamya Adkins of Garnett, SC. Host of loving and caring aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He also leaves behind a devoted fiancé Felisha Devore and loving kids he called his own Shawnquev Bennett and Shawn Bennett Jr.
George Lee Adkins 47, of Estill, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 13, 2018.
A public viewing will take place Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the chapel of Legacy Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Hopewell C.M.E at 1:00 PM
Interment: Breeler Field Cemetery
