James Bush

James Bush 69, of Garnett SC, departed this earthly life on Saturday May 19, 2018 at his residence surrounded by family. 

Mr. James Bush was born on March 3, 1949, to the late Jacob Bush and Jannie Early Bush, in Allendale County South Carolina.  On Saturday, May 19, 2018, Our Heavenly Father called James home to rest from his labor at the residence of his daughter in Scotia, SC. 

He was preceded in death by several of his siblings, Mary Grant, Betty Bush Best, Karie Smith, Joanna Bostick, Nellye Robinson, Willie Bostick and John Bush.

James received his education in the public schools of Hampton County, South Carolina. He was employed as a Welder for more than 15 years.

For many years, James was a member of Union Baptist Church in Luray, South Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Rosa M Bush; (5) Children: Aundrea (Jerome) James of the home, Sharome (Andea) Robinson, Hampton, SC; John (Jamie) Bush of NC, Rosa Fuller of Orangeburg, SC; and Charlene Cohen of Estill, SC. (3) Grandchildren reared in the home, Destiny Brown, Justin James and Arie Anna James; (1) special Grand, Andrew Robinson and 24 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grands;  (1) Brother, Ronnie Bostick of Columbia, SC;  (4) Sisters-in-laws, Dora Lofton of Gifford, SC, Shirell Brooks of Greensboro, NC, Lula M. Johnson of Adale, Ga, and Marie Adams of Ridgeland, SC; and (2) Brothers-in-laws, Robert (Keshia) Singleton of Varnville, SC, and James B, Cohen of Jersey City. A Special friend, Rimontray James.  Along with a host of nieces, nephews and caring friends.

James Bush was a loving, devoted and caring Father, Grandfather, Uncle and Friend

A public viewing will be held Friday, May 25,2018 in the Legacy chapel from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.

Celebration of life will take place Saturday, May 26,2018 at 12:00 noon located at Ebenezer New Life Ministry located at 416 Fitts street Luray, SC 29932.
