Obituary
Ralph Lorenzo Drayton, was born on July 7, 1988 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Teresa Denise Drayton and the late Ralph Lorenzo Dunham, Sr. On Friday morning, July 6, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center, Savannah, Ga, Ralph heard his name and answered the call of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and entered into eternal rest.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Elijah and Maggie Drayton.
Ralph received his education at Abundant Life Academy and Jasper High School.
He was employed at RR Baker Construction as a heavy equipment operator. When his brother, Elijah (Sean) and friends heard about his job, daily he had to break it down on how he did things. And when he got excited, he always had that jolly ‘laugh’. Ralph was a hands-on person who could always fix things straight out of the box without reading instructions. He worked on automobiles, installing radios or just parts. He would do a favor for anyone and would always lend a helping hand. Ralph was well loved and will be missed.
Ralph had a special love for his children, Shakiya and Nathan. He would just smile with those dimples and call them his special nick names and would love on them. He loved his sister, Dezsiree and his brother, Elijah.
He also loved his music. Recording was his main hobby. Everyone knew “Wolf Man”, as his friends fondly called him. For everyone could hear the “Boom Boom” as he came down the street. Ralph was determined to go an extra mile to get that beat.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his Mother, Teresa Drayton, Beaufort, SC;(1) daughter, Shakiya Drayton;(1) son, Nathan Drayton of Clyo, Ga; friend/mother of his children, Sharika Goldwire;(1) sister,Dezsiree Denise Dunham (nieces, Alana & Kensley);(1) brother, Elijah Dunham (nephews, Maxmilliano & Mayson); friend, Ashleigh Stibitz; Grandmother, Maeola Brown, Hardeeville, SC; Albberita Bates, Spartanburg, SC, Janet Hopkins, Sheldon, SC; Aunts, Tiffany Garvin, Temica(Kedrick) Brice, Orlando, Fla; Lanita Fuller, Spartanburg, SC; uncles, Peter(Lisa) Brown, Michael(Pamela) Dunham, Blair Dunham, Garden City, Ga; Kevin Hopkins, Seattle, WA, and James Brown, Columbia, SC.
