Ronald was born on December 15, 1959 in Hampton County, South Carolina to James Nathaniel O’Banner and the late Learlene Gordon O’Banner.
At an early age, he received the Lord as his personal Savior under his mother’s guidance at First Pine Savannah Baptist Church. Ronald attended Estill High School where he played multiple positions on the football team and was a member of the Class of 1978.
