Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes Wilson- Scott announces her departure from this life, on the morning of May 8, 2023. After fighting a long battle, God saw that the hills of eternal rest became her. As the spirit of Agnes Wilson-Scott was called home, she gracefully departed this life in Beaufort Memorial Hospital, with her loving niece, Geneva Wilson, by her side. Her posi- tive, joyful, and humorous presence will be missed.
Agnes “Tack” Wilson-Scott was a gift of joy and excite- ment to her parents, the late Isaiah and Henrietta Wil- son from the moment of her birth on December 26, 1955. Agnes was born and raised in Jasper County, SC. She at- tended the public and local schools nearby. She was de- voted member of Hopewell C.M.E and served as an Usher for many years. Agnes is fondly remembered from her years of playing softball for Robertville Slugger, with her sisters Inez and Mary.
Agnes was employed at Target and Westin Resorts. Alt- hough small in stature, her presence and spirit were larger than life. Agnes loved dancing and spending time with her family; and, has reunited with her sister, Inez, and her big brother, Melvin in heaven.
