Christopher Stevenson

Christopher Jamal Stevenson, “YC”, 34 was born on September 11, 1988 in Beaufort, South Carolina to Carrie Mae Stevenson and the late Charles Elvin Medlock.
He was educated in the public school system in Jasper County; he graduated with the Class of 2006. Christopher was a legend in and out of the community and one of the most humble people ever. He was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. Christopher was an Owner and Operator of the Stevenson Brothers Trucking, LLC. He was a full-time entrepreneur who invested in several of other businesses. In his spare time, Christopher enjoyed traveling the world, purchasing foreign cars, and most of all an avid Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs fan.
Christopher was preceded in death by one godmother, Mary Alice Polite, two brothers, Johnathan and Calvin Stevenson, two grandmothers, Daisy Wright-Stevenson and Ruth Medlock, three grandfathers, Pernell Stevenson, Clarence Medlock, and Abraham Frazier, one auntie, Charlene Mitchell, two uncles, Bill Medlock, and Rodney Richardson, and his father, Charles Elvin Medlock.
On Thursday, April 20, 2023, he quietly departed this world at the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. God spoke and said, “Come Home, My Child.”

Christopher "YC" Stevenson 34, of Ridgeland, SC passed away in Charlotte North Carolina on April 20, 2023. Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
