Dorian Ashton Brooks, “Mr. Carolina Gamecock” was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 23, 1986. On Sunday, May 19, 2019 Dorian entered into eternal rest. He attended Jasper County public schools for some years. He gain the passion of creating his own music and lyrics that got him many recognition and acknowledgements. He loved his talent of performing and enjoyed it everyday. Dorian enjoyed doing back to school fund raisers such as backpacks filled with school supplies for children that was in need and feeding the homeless. He was also employed with People Ready as an insulator. He treasured all his moments with spending time with his son. Dorian leaves to cherished his precious memories to his son, Keiani Fields, his longtime girlfriend, MeLissa Taylor, his mother, JoAnn Taylor, his brothers, James (Felicia) Brooks, Clarence Brooks, Wesley Wood and Daniel Drayton, his sisters, Adreana (Devon) Ford, Ashly Washington and Christine Drayton; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Dorian Brooks 33, of Hardeeville, SC departed this earthly life to be with his heavenly father on Sunday, May 19,2019.
Family and friends are invited to attend Mr. Dorian celebration of life on Saturday, May 25, 2019 11 am at Cathedral of God Hardeeville, SC.
Final resting place: Good Hope Cemetery Estill, SC.
