Nuke was born on March 12, 1977, in Buffalo, New York to the late Harry Joseph James King, Sr. and Gloria Ann Robinson-King. He was the only son to this union.
Harry moved to South Carolina with his parents at the age of four. He attended the public schools of Jasper County. He was a great son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to all who knew him. He was hard working, enjoyed landscaping, painting and spending time with his children. “Nuke” was a faithful employee of Coastal Carolina of Bluffton, South
Carolina and Sparky Duncan of Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Nuke was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Corine Wood- King and Joe King; maternal grandparents, James Robinson and Maggie King; special aunt, Cora King; niece, Shanique Heyward; close friends, Anthony Pinckney (Birds), and Tyrone Robinson (Bone). Nuke departed this life on Friday, July 5, 2024.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories; four children, Jay “Lil Nuke” King, Ariel Pinckney (Orell Pinckney) Destinee King (Tasha Stevenson)
and Josiah King (Lachell Youmans); special sister, Sedatious Heyward, of Garnett, South Carolina; five uncles; four aunts; eight nephews; nine nieces; and twenty-one great nieces and nephews; close cousins, Diane, Kiki, Travis, Joseph and, Lavar; three close friends, Jermaine, Darius and Jameel; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends. Harry King, 47 years old of Ridgeland, South Carolina passed away July 5, 2024, at his residence.
