Henry Lee Wright was born on March 16, 1960, the seventh child of the late Willie and Jannie Lee Gregory Wright of Hampton, South Carolina.
Henry Lee was known as “Wright”. He was educated in the public schools of the Hampton District 2. He was a very hard worker and was employed by several companies, including Coastal Farms for several years, Harper & Bowers Industry for 30 years, and Canfor Southern Pines until his health failed all located in Estill, South Carolina.
In his leisure time, he loved riding his moped, because that was his collectible sport rather than his Cadillac. Henry loved life and enjoyed shopping, cooking Sunday dinner for his friends, and riding anywhere just to see different sites. Most of all, he had an undying love for his sisters and two special friends, Harry Strong and Bernard Sanders, they were the best of friends. “God Never Missed”
God knew the time was drawing closer to shore, “I must pick this flower now, no more pain, heart ache nor worries”. Henry Lee heard a voice, his name was called. He answered saying, “my journey has come to and end, I must leave now”.
He leaves to cherish fond memories; his dear and beloved sisters, Pastor Claretha Housey, Mother Sarah (Marion Lee Williams), and Hattie (Elder Charles Anderson), all of Estill, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Lily Mae Wright; special nephews, Roshawn Housey, Everett Williams, and Charles Anderson, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends; two special friends, Harry Strong and Bernard Sanders.
