James Grant Jr

James Albert Grant Jr was born December 16, 1984, to James and Sharon Grant at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
He received his education at Hilton Head High School (Sea Hawks) where he was a 2004 graduate. James was employed at Thomas Concrete and also at Year Round Pool. He also loved his Jordans.
James was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie and Ann Byrd; and aunt, Claire Mervin.
On Thursday, August 10, 2023, James took flight and departed this earthly life.
He will be missed and cherished by his parents, James Albert Grant, Sr., and Sharon Denise Grant; two daughters, Semajay Denise Grant and Mariah Louise Ann Grant; two sons, James Albert Grant III, and Jayden Tyree Grant; two brothers, Daytrin A. Dupont and Jason Lamar Grant; god-sister, Cassandra Jenkins; maternal grandparents, Eugene Dupont and Viola Dupont, of Bluffton, South Carolina; aunts, Coretta (Dwight) Fennell, Carrie (Zeekiel) Frazier, and Yulaunda Wallace; uncles, Daryl Byrd, Derrick (Shaumeta) Dupont, Eugene (Roberta) Dupont, Anthony (Vanessa) Fields, Eugene (Tiffany) Dupont, James Dupont, and Willie Patricia) Byrd; two nieces; four nephews; and a host of family and friends.
         
James Grant Jr, 38 of Bluffton, SC passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023.  Please feel free to light a candle and sign the guestbook to show your expressions of love to the family of Mr. Grant.
