PEARLIE MAE FRAZIER was born August 4, 1945, to the late Mary
“Mae” Housey and the late Sammy Barnes. On, Thursday, October
8, she gained her wings when she went to her heavenly home.
Pearlie was educated in the Jasper County School System. Later in
life, she worked for the Jasper County School System and retired as
an Education Specialist after 28 years of service.
She was a devout Christian and faithful member of Antioch
Missionary Baptist Church.
Pearlie was a devoted mother who instilled in her two sons, a
strong belief in God, the importance of family, the value of an
education, and the absolute requirement to be respectful, good men.
She was a giving spirit with a passion for supporting and caring for
her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Clyde A. Frazier;
her mother Mary “Mae” Housey; her father Sammy Barnes; and a
brother Albert Housey, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted son Leroy Frazier,
Jr. (Tamara) of Atlanta, GA; her two grandchildren Brandon Frazier
of Atlanta, GA and Alexandra Frazier of Greenville, NC; her two
great-granddaughters Sky and Summer Jordan-Frazier of Atlanta,
GA; sister Ella Wilson (Johnny Ervin) of Scotia, SC; brother Sam
Housey (Janie Bell) of Tarboro, SC; devoted nephew Albert
Housey, Jr. (Regina) of Pineland, SC; special niece Lessie Loadholt
of Furman, SC; life-long friends Fredericka Wright and Shirley
Goodman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pearlie Frazier 75, of Pineland, SC went from labor to reward on the evening of October 8, 2020.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14 from 5-7 PM in the Legacy Chapel.
Graveside services will take place at 11 AM at New Heights Cemetery in Pineland SC on Thursday, October 15.
