Ricky Ruth of Furman passed away at Hampton Regional on July 14,2022 It .

A viewing will be held on Friday July 22, 2022 in the Legacy Chapel.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022 11am at Estill Elementary Auditorium.

Mr. Ricky Tyron Ruth was born on July 6, 1968 to the late Mr. Walter Ruth, Sr. and Mrs. Shelia Ruth. On July 14, 2022, Our Heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom called our sweet loved one home to rest.
Ricky was joined in holy matrimony on December 1, 2001 to Karen Scott. To this union, one child was born. Ricky attended Estill High School and worked at Oliver Kitchen and Baths for the past 18 years until his illness.
Ricky was a loving and dedicated husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Jerome Ruth and his father, Deacon Walter Ruth, Sr.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his loving wife, Karen Scott Ruth of Furman, SC; three daughters, Sharique Ruth of Furman, SC, Rickesha Ruth of Columbia, SC and Shaday Ruth of Estill, SC; his loving mother, Elder Shelia Ruth of Estill, SC; one sister, Alma Williams of Estill, SC; two brothers, Walter Ruth, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC and Anthony (Faye) Ruth of Estill, SC; grandmother-in-law, Mrs. Albertha Johnson; two brothers-in-law, Sherman Scott of Pineland, SC and John (Karen) Scott of Estill, SC; one uncle, Carson Connell; two aunts, Mrs. Emily Sills and Evangelist Bernice Ellis. Exceptional employers,
Kerry and Dee Oliver; co-workers, Alonzo Jones and Melvin Wilson; special friends, Keith Reed, Frank Blake, Corey Lewis, Tyrese Bowman and Nate Lovett; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Therefore, keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
