Mrs. Sharon Deloris Capers was born February 7, 1965 in Ridgeland, South Carolina to the late Rosa Mae Taylor and William Bill White. Sharon attended the public schools in Ridgeland, South Carolina and furthered her education at the Technical College of the Low Country in Beaufort, South
Carolina where she earned an Associates in Degree Cosmetology. She was a transportation Specialist for 40 years and paraprofessional for 3 years all of Jasper County School District. Capers (Sharon) accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age and became a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church in Tillman, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her Special grandparents, Willie and Mary Lee Burrison; loving son, Christopher Lee Burrison. Sharon departed this earthly life and gain her heavenly wings on May 02, 2024 at the Encompass Health Rehabilitation in Bluffton, South Carolina.
She leaves to cherish beautiful memories, husband, Poncie Capers; children, a loving daughter, Shandrika (Anthony) Murray and a loving son, Poncie J. Capers, Jr.; seven loving grandchildren that was precious and dear to her heart,
TyAnthony, Dehyanna, Sharon, Jaden, Kymir, Markell and Christopher Lee, Jr.; mother figure, Carolyn (Frank) Fulton; sisters, Willie Mae Toomer, Barbara Ann Burrison, Gloria Barnes, Samantha (Joseph) Robinson, Tammy (Andre)
Chaneyfield, Felisa Taylor, Jennifer Smith, Pearl Grant, Arthur Lee Taylor and Alvin White; mother-in-law, Martha (Betty) Capers; three sisters-in-law, Lillian Burrison, Margaret (Isreal) Hughee, Gail Capers Smart and Gloria Parish; brother-in-law, Sam (Ruthie) Capers; best friend, Coretta Lawyer; a
host of cousins, other family members and friends.
Sharon Capers 59. of Ridgeland, South Carolina passed away on May 2, 2024, at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bluffton.
