Sharon Ling, the daughter of Barbra Pugh and the late Willie Lee Blake was born in Hampton, SC.
On Friday, March 27, 2020, in Augusta, GA, Sharon departed this earthly life. Sharon received her education in the public schools of Hampton County. Sharon served as a member of Nazarene Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board. Sharon Polite was joined in marriage to Jerome Ling of 36 years. She is preceded in death by a sister, Beatrice Primus. She will be missed and her memories will be cherished by her husband, Jerome Ling; her four kids: Jerome Polite (Tarboro), Alex (Tonya) Ling, Clyo, GA, Denise Ling, Hampton, SC and Anastasia (Garnett) Ling; eight sisters: Darlene (Larry) Garvin, Varnville, SC, Charlene (Matthew) Hicklen, Guyton, GA, Nadine (Bruce) Wilson, Richmond Hill, GA, Cythina Allen, Savannah, GA, Cindy Allen, Savannah, GA, Patricia (Tommy) White, Walterboro, SC and Barbara White, Beaufort, SC; two brothers: Robert Smart, Houston, TX and Willie Allen, Savannah, GA; 9 uncles and 14 aunts; Godchildren: Zahir Singleton, Ebony Hicklen, Brittany White, Diamond Williams, Jasmine McPherson; sister-in-law, Stella (Jimmy) Ling Mitchell, Estill, SC; 3 brothers-in-law: Jessie (Dasiey) Ling, Hopewell, VA, Alexander (Sherry) Ling, Estill, SC, and Kenneth Leon Brown, Garnett, SC; uncle-in-law, Jessie (Caroline) Grant, Scotia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 2,2020 in the Legacy Chapel from 5-7PM
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 3, 2020 at Breeler Field Cemetery in Garnett, SC @11AM.
