Terrence was born on May 12, 1962 in Detroit , Michigan, the son of Prince David Beatty and Pamela Loraine DavisWiley. He was the third of four children. He married the love of his life, Rosalind Ferguson on July 10, 1998 in Beaufort, South Carolina.
Terrence was raised in a Christian home. He was compassionate and never met a stranger.
Terrence enjoyed his travels while in the Air Force, which gave him the opportunity to travel to countries, such as England, Guam, and Egypt. While serving in the Air Force he became apart of the United States Boxing Team and became a golden glove boxer in the Olympics and was just five fights away from winning the Gold Medal against Ray Mercer. In 1998, he and his wife opened up a Martial Arts School to teach inner city children after school. He and his wife were also Bodyguards for Master P., the Winan's, Sinbad,
Pebo Bryson, the minister of the New Black Panther Party,and
many others. Terrence also participated in training the FOI. He enjoyed teaching Kung Fu, meeting new people and he was all about family and happiness! He also enjoyed working with children and helping the less fortunate.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Loraine Davis. Terrence departed this earthly life on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Hardeeville, South Carolina.
He is survived by his spouse, Rosalind Davis, of Hardeeville, SC; four children, John Bush, Mikiesha Lynard, Jessica Grant (Jason), and Akeem Lynard; his father, Prince David Beatty; mother-in-law, Emma Grant; three siblings, Rhonda Davis, Adrian Davis Bell, and Kyle Butts, sister-in-law, Faith Grant; brother-in-law, Peter Grant,
Jr. (Laveetra); three nieces, Ibony , MyAsia, and Destiny; nephews, Ronald, Korey, Malachi, and Peter; grandchildren, Yvette, Noah, Amara, Brayden, Karter, Khamari, Kenyatta, Kai and Kiari; three great-nieces Janiyah, Robin, and Claire; two great-nephews, Jayden and Jaylen; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Terrence Davis 61, of Hardeeville, South Carolina passed away on April 29, 2024.
