Ura Mae “Sue” Dunham was born to UraLee and the late Archie Brown, Jr. on January 3, 1963. Sue, which everyone called her, graduated from West Hardeeville High School in 1981.
In 1986, she was joined in Matrimony to Leon Dunham. This union was blessed with three children, Von, Tierra and Alise.
At an early age she received the Lord as her Personal Savior at St. Phillips Baptist Church. She later joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and then Mt. Olive RUME Church until her demise. Throughout the years of her life, she was a Summer Lunch Program site coordinator and a cheerleading coach. Because of the love she had for all children, her home was always open to them.
On August 31, 2023, at Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Sue was called home for eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her father, Archie Brown, Jr.; her son, Ricard (Von) Brown; her brother, Clifford Brown; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie West, Sr.; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Brown, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, a loving and caring mother, UraLee Brown; her husband, Leon Dunham; two daughters, Tierra (Jerod) Saunders and Alise (Malik) Green; two sisters, Luberta (Julius) Primus, and Naomi Austin; two brothers, James (Cholette) Singleton and Maurice Brown; three grandchildren, Kelsey, Malaysia, and Aryn; special sister, Evangelist Genise B. Simmons; and special granddaughter, Stacy Saunders; host brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other family members near and far
