Mrs. Victoria Badger Hutchinson was born on July 5, 1956, the daughter of the late Emmett Fuller and the late Magalene McClay Badger in Allendale County, SC. She attended the public schools of Allendale County,South Carolina and later graduated from Hampton County School District 2 In Estill, SC. Victoria was employed with Falcon Industries and The
South Carolina Department of Health and Environment Control of Hampton County, where she retired.
Seeking God’s direction and guidance at an early age, she joined the Saint James Baptist Church, Luray, SC, later moving her membership to St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church, Estill, SC. She was a faithful member
and she held several auxiliaries in the church. Victoria sang on the senior choir, served on the Pastor’s Aide Board, Church Secretary and Sunday School teacher. On January 12, 2006 she joined Mount Olive Pentecostal Church of Christ, Inc. There she received the gift of the Holy Ghost and
was a dedicated and loyal member. She was the adult Sunday School Teacher, sang on the choir and served on the kitchen committee. “Falling in love with Jesus, was the best thing I’ve ever done” became her favorite song after receiving the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.
On September 20, 1973 she married the love of her life, Mr. Richard Hutchinson, to this union, they were blessed with four loving children.
Victoria was preceded in death by; three brothers, James McClay, Leroy Badger and Larry Badger; an a sister, Rebecca Butts; a very special friend, Assistant Pastor Edna Mae Moore.
On Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her daughter’s residence surroundedby her loved ones, Victoria made her peaceful transition to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

of Estill, SC; daughter, Demetra K. Hutchinson of Estill, SC; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Sarja (reared in the home as a son), Taylor, Josiah, Jamiya,Trishtan, Jaliree, Tonja and Gregory; three adopted grandchildren,Nyasia, Kamryn, and Macen Wright of Lexington, SC; mother-in-law, Mary
S. Hutchinson; three sisters, Linda (Junior) Roberts of Sylvania, Ga., Gloria Stanley of Varnville, SC, and Sadie Sanders of Estill, SC; four brothers, Ulysee Badger and William Badger, both of Allendale, SC, Jefford “Lee”
Blake of Savannah, Ga, Julius Kinlaw of Varnville, SC; six sisters-in-law, Diane Badger of White Lake, NC, Mary H (Norman) Glenn, Lomattie Hutchinson, Willie Mae Hutchinson and Sharie Hutchinson all of Estill, SC and Andrea Hutchinson of Varnville, SC; aunt, Marie McClay of Estill, SC;
uncle, Arthur Green of Estill, SC; God’s special blessings as sisters, Carolyn Grant, Lucille Forrester and Shirley Harley; four special nephews, Terrell Roberts, Tyler Odom, Jonathan E. Victoria Hutchinson 67, of Estill, South Carolina passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
