Vincent Edwards

Vincent Edwards was born on August 19, 1967 in Paterson, New Jersey to the late Lacy Edwards and Georgia M. Ficklen Edwards.
Vincent was a member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church in Paterson, New Jersey. In 1985, he graduated from Eastside High School and later attended DeVry Institute in Wood- bridge, New Jersey.
Vincent was employed at Nabisco Company in Fair Lawn, New Jersey for fifteen years. After relocating to the Bronx, New York, Vincent held the position of an Administrative Procurement Analyst for New York City (DCAS).
He was preceded in death by his father, grand-parents, John and Nancy Edwards, Rainey and Sadie Warren Ficklen; nephew, Raymond G. Edwards, Jr, and uncle, Gussie Edwards.
Vincent departed this life on December 27, 2022.
He leaves to cherish fond memories: his mother, Georgia Edwards, of Estill, South Carolina; sister, Adriane Edwards, of Paterson, New Jersey; brother, Raymond G. (Wendy) Edwards, of Columbia, South Carolina; niece, Nishaunda Grant, of Estill, South Carolina; three nephews, Jaquan Edwards, of Laurel, MD, Nikel and Jahmir Edwards, of Columbia, South Carolina; grand nephew, Nishaun Bowers, of Estill, South Carolina;grand nieces, Nadia, Nyla, and Nia Edwards, all of Laurel, Maryland; two uncles, Franklin (Elzena) Edwards, of Garnett, South Carolina and James Beard, of Columbia, South Carolina; five aunts, Nancy (Freddie) Morgan, of Pineland, South Carolina, Lila Edwards, of Scotia, South Carolina, Earidean Edwards, of Garnett, South Carolina, Stephanie (Conrad) Felks, of Orangeburg, South Carolina and Edna Edwards, of Willingboro, NJ; a very special cousin, Chinnise Adkins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Vincent Edwards of New Jersey formally of Estill, SC passed away at his residence.
