Viola (Why) Heyward was born on July 29, 1948 in Hardeeville, SC to the late Arthur and Flowers Scott who preceded her in death along with her sister, Isabella (Baby) Robinson.
A Time to Live:
Why was a loving, caring, beautiful, and straight forward mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed many qualities of life. Such as: cooking, shopping, watching her favorite tv showsand putting together jigsaw puzzles. She loved to laugh and joke around with everyone who she knew. Why had open arms for anyone who needed it. She was the backbone and the glue who always held the family together.
She received her education in Jasper County.
A Time to Die:
On Friday, May 19, 2023, Why went home to be with Jesus from her earthly life.
A Time to Mourn:
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons: Terrance Heyward, Hardeeville, SC and Jermayne Bing (Mary), Dublin, GA grandchildren: Rolonza Jackson, Savannah, GA, Taris Williams, Ridgeland, SC, Seanna Heyward, Garden City, GA, Mirah Drawdy, Terrance Heyward, Jr., Aiden Heyward, and Aliyah Driggers all of Hardeeville, SC, Maurell McMillan, Jemira Bing and Jahiem Bing all of Dublin, GA; great grandchild, Miguel Williams; siblings: Lerether Heyward, Shirley Heyward, Arthur Scott, Sr., Dale Duham, and Joe Duham all of Hardeeville, SC, Mildred Bright, Louisville, KY; a friend/sister for over 50 years, Mrs. Olie White (Ron), Charleston, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viola Hayward of Hardeeville, South Carolina, made a peaceful transition on May 19, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
